Good news, everyone:
Thanks to anticapitalista, the latest FT10 stable release (version 1.1) is now included (along with it’s dependency jgmenu-antix) in the official antiX repository.
This means that, now to install the latest stable release you have 2 choices:
-Install FT10 from Synapatic (search for “FT10” and then install it)
-Install from the terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install ft10-transformation
Once the package is installed, go to the antiX menu > Preferences > “FT10 enable…” to use FT10.
(If you wish to go back to the default antiX look: antiX menu > Preferences > “FT10 disable…”)
As always, to have access to the latest (unstable) version, you can download it’s .deb package from https://gitlab.com/antix-contribs/ft10-transformation/-/tree/main/packages and then install it (you no longer to worry with the jgmenu dependency, since it’s now on the repository), just install it as you would any other .deb file (using gdebi, or any other GUI package installer, or the terminal).
The only difference between the stable release and the beta version I’m currently working on is that it has some minor visual improvements and also some major updates to FT10-Clock related scripts (stopwatch, Timers, World-clock with a fully working GUI)
This version will soon become FT10 version 1.2.
I’m trying to get the localization files on Transifex (sorry, Robin, the World-clock GUI is taking longer than I expected).
