    Okay. Except for a couple of errors on my download and the md5 did not match. I finally got AntiX17-64Full loaded on my desktop. And we have S O U N D. Did a update & dist-upgrade and it still works.

    UPDATE: Problem solved. It would appear that for some reason I ended up with an dist-upgrade that scrambled some files. Damn you, Cox Communications. The internet get wonky at times over here. Cox raises the rates but doesn’t repair their old equipment.
