Topic: Screen blinking
Hi everyone,
Since a day I am a proud user of antiX 21 🙂
I have done all updates and rebooted several times but unfortunately I still have a problem. My screen turns on and off every many times (in a fraction of a half second).
Sometimes not for a minute but sometimes 3 times in a row.
How can I best solve this? The details of my laptop are:

Dear antiX community,

Intel® Celeron® N4100 processor
Windows 10 Home in S-modus1
33,7cm (13,3″) Full HD touchbeeldscherm
64 GB
4 GB DDR4
Dolby Audio™
Intel® Wireless-AC 9462 9462 with Bluetooth®-5.0
1 x microSD-
1 x USB 3.1 type C met display Port™ 7
1 x USB 3.1
1 x USB 2.0 type A
1 x miniHDMI®
1 x netadapter
1 x Audio-Combo (mic-in, audio-out)
ca. 315 x 16,5 x 215 mm/ca. 1,47 kgBut when im in the insall screen (from debian) its says it ‘no ethernetcard is detetected’.
Should i skipp this step and install the os anyway and fix it after the os install is finished?
Thanks a lot!Greetings,

Almost done with tests with live CD/DVD (optical media), before proceeding to try testing with live USB.
However there’s one last issue I saw:
If booting *without* the “toram” boot option, X always fails to load. When finishing booting system starts in command line, and typing “startx” results in error that “failed to connect to server”, or something like that.
With the “toram” option, there have been no problems until now.Current rig:

Oh, and on a brief side note, independently of this issue, I tried @Xecure’s past advise regarding usage of the “toram” option. Supposedly one needs to add the “menus=s” boot option in conjunction with it.
However, this did absolutely nothing, and not using the option still boots the system seemingly fine.
Also, this boot option is not mentioned at all in the Antix wiki, and only barely mentioned in the FAQ website. And there, it mentions nothing about “menus” boot option accepting any kind of value…
Was there a reason behind it?Thanks again.
