I just began booting antiX-22-net_386-net.is. Got message it is 64bit, not for 32bit. I thought 386 meant for 32bit. What is the latest antiX that will run on 32bit machine. I pulled an old Compaq Evo N610 off the shelf and thought it would be nice to run Linux on it as a curiosity. Won’t be used on the web, so not worried about security. Yes I know 32bit support has been or will soon be discontinued.

::Just press ok or Enter and it should continue to boot
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::Sorry, I posted again as I did not see it when I looked for it. Why are posts not listed in order by date and time.

::1. At the top of each each thread is a Subscribe button. It you are subscribed, you will get an email anytime an answer is posted. I’m sure some of the sticky “how to” posts at the top of the list of threads say to do that. If you aren’t familiar with the system here, take a look at the first post to see if any of those suggestions or tips might help you. We are friendly and try to help, but you need to do your part to keep it that way.
2. They are in date sequence starting with the one most recently replied to down to older ones. Yours might have dropped down to page 2 or 3.
3. No need to double post 🙂 I’ll delete it for you.

Do you know something I don’t know?
Yes, of course, 32-bit gets less focus and a lot of folks don’t care. But there is still a good community focused on 32-bit. AntiX and MX are among them. There are no plans to discontinue soon.
I like to use the “Recent Posts” section of the forum. That gives me a nice list in date and time order.

::I like to use the “Recent Posts” section too.
It’s usually my starting point in the forum.
