Happy to report no issues with the 4.14.1 kernel running on my Lenovo SL500 laptop, 2 gig ram with antiX-17 stable installed.

        Installed the new 4.14.2-kernel
Until now runs fine, no issues.
I tried the first time the nvidia-driver-installer.It’s a really easy happening.
        I choosed the backports.

It’s often said that antix runs best on older, weaker hardware and I agree.

But not only, this box loves antix:

          Hey Everyone,

I installed antix 17 Heather Heyer and have the default 4.10.5 kernel so is there any reason I need to update from the default kernel to a newer kernel or will it do it automatically.

          Thanks
