      Good morning people 🙂

      I probably found a bug?

copy and paste or safe file to a USB…

if i put the usb out the computer, and in again the file is gone
if i burn the file, it is burning but no file on cd

      hidden files are displayed

in my snapshot and also in a new download this morning from here
      https://sourceforge.net/projects/antix-linux/files/Final/antiX-19/4.19_kernel/antiX-19.2-4.19_kernel_x64-base.iso

i tried with linux mint and that’s okay

I just tested this, and all works how it should.

With ROX filer, after copying the file, I close the window and wait for a second before unpluging the USB device. After pluging it back, the file is still there.
With SpaceFM, after copying the file, I unmount the device, wait for a second and unplug the USB. After pluging it back, the file is still there.

Tested with exactly the iso you are pointing to.

Maybe you should make sure the transfer has finished and try to manually unmount if using SpaceFM (on the left panel), and see if you keep experiencing this.

You should always unmount devices before pulling them out.
There is a little icon on the toolbar/taskbar to do this.
