To the development team and anyone involved with the project.

I just came by to say thanks, and I hope you maintain it for a long time to come.

antiX has helped me more than a few times when something broke in my preferred distro.

When my HD failed I was able to load it into ram (maybe my favorite feature) and continue critical tasks until I was able to install the new drive.

You guys are great. Long live antiX.

I have been able to use antiX since it was first introduced more than a decade ago and I have used the other software in the family ( the original MEPIS and it’s successor MX ) dating back to May 2003.

This trilogy have provided me with a combination of stable, easy to install and use software PLUS an easy way to create a new custom system of my choice using either “Base” or “Core” images.

While recently I haven’t built Core, custom systems, for years they made several of my longest lasting images and builds.

Now retired, I only do such things for occasional practice and amusement, but continue to use both antiX and MX as two of my stable “go to” distributions – antiX for doing stuff lean, fast and light, MX for using a moderate resource system with excellent software to use and maintain.

I’ve been an advocate of these distributions since they were introduced and I continue to be thankful for everything that the collective community of developers, testers, helpers, writers and users contribute to make this an outstanding effort.
