picture of a small ventoy usb stick about to boot a portable antix linux installation on a 12 years old Panasonic CF-R8 laptop (USB stick needs to be less than 139GB for the old CF-R8 to boot on it) :

ventoy about to boot antix linux on a 2 years old laptop

the antix vhd installation (portableantix21.vhd.vtoy file on the ventoy boot menu) is bootable both in legacy or UEFI bios mode (see https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=657598#p657598 thank you MX Linux community ! ) so it can also boot on the more recent CF-SZ6

there is also a WinToGo installation on the ventoy USB stick to boot Windows 10 on the SZ6 (I have Cloudready on the SZ6 and it’s kind of hard to make it share a single hard drive with other OS … I tried a dual-boot brunch/chromeos and Windows but brunch was not as stable as Cloudready on this SZ6) (but Windows updates are reaaaallly slow on this small/not very fast USB stick … so it’s better to make the WinToGo installation on a faster drive like the Asenno drive on the picture and then copy the .vhdx file (that contains the WinToGo installation) to the ventoy USB stick)
