As i am missing one web cam to do some zoom testing but have a couple of inexpensive action cams
I decided to plug them in to antix 21.

First a Crosstour CT9700 Does not support webcam mode, I have asked if a software update is available.
The cam has been replaced by an improved model, it was not a model I would recommend.

Next a Victure AC940, not sure if this is still available. A device I really like, build quality is
like a device 4 times the price. Only downside was that it came without an external charger.
Took me about 30 minutes to make one from Crosstour do the job, easy hack to increase size of battery slot
      contacts are same standard.

Plugged in without battery, menu popped up, tapped pc mode on touchscreen, lsusb showed it.
Started GUVC view, immediately had a vido pic on screen, video recording no issue, very good quality
near none of the fish eye effect webcams suffer from. Unless the camera is too near to subject as always,
low light quality is as expected for such a small aperture device poor.

This is way better than any webcam I have come across to date, and multi usage, even underwater with
included waterproof case. Victure has claims of waterproof without case, they just do not understand
water pressure, I tried to explain, they need some training from at least a master diver.
Even with the case I would worry at 4 to 5 meters why is another story.

Will report further once I can test with zoom.

Regarding Crosstour Action cams, Crosstour support can offer no solution to use CT9000
or CT9700 as a webcam or to record Video and Sound directly to a computer.

Thus can only recommend the far superior product in both Build and Image quality as well as flexibility

        Victure AC 940.

Note: these are the only devices I had available to use.
