I installed Kodi via the build in Packet installer. Unfortunaly i wasn’t able to install any addon because there is no standart repository for addons preinstalled and i didn’t manage to add it.
How can i add the repository in Kodi.

Aren’t they available in the Debian buster repos?
That is where the package installer gets kodi from.
Seems like you need to install kodi-repository-kodihttps://packages.debian.org/buster/kodi

According to the information in synaptic-package-manager:
“This package enables download of addons via the official Kodi repository feed”
sudo apt install kodi-repository-koditx, solved 🙂

@Jockel – do you think that kodi-repository-kodi should be installed via package installer (as well as kodi)?
I don’t use kodi so I have no idea how important that package is.Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

This is my first test with kodi, too.
If you ask me it would be helpfull to add the repository to the packet installer. If you install it with kodi or seperated doesn’t matter.
I had no idea that such package exists and tried to add the repository manualy which is complicated.To find explanations on google is also difficult. Most people seem to use it with raspberry as a tv box. On Raspbian it seems to be configured inclusive the addon repository.
