      Howdy,

I was trying to add antiX’s software repositories to my Lubuntu partition (with both add-apt-repository and via the Muon Package Manager), but have had no luck so far. I run into an error saying the repo has no release file, and so updating from it is disabled by default. Any ideas?

For context, I wanted to try and steal antiX’s repos so I could steal their excellent package-installer from there (and subsequent list of suggested lightweight software tested by veterans over the years). Seemed like a clever idea at first, not so clever now that it’s been shown I’m not experienced enough to make it work though…

So now you hope someone will install and explore bloated buntu then give detailed instructions on
        how to add antiX applications.

More sensible would be to just use a decent distro rather than trying to as you put it steal
components and make buntu less of the bloated sluggish mess I recently found on a users computer..

He now is happily running antiX 23 beta with ICEWM

If you find antiX too unfamiliar I would suggest giving MX linux a spin. It is based on antiX
