I use an Android message app on the phone and that’s it.

I hardly know what you mean as far as chat products. I’d head off for fansubber places and see what they used for IRC…
As far as AI products, surely you would look at the options in library science and in HCI on arXiv and pick an appropriate sort of mind out that way; seems a bit easier than implementing IBM Watson and hoping it answers people’s peacock hatchery questions using HenExchange streams the way you wanted.
