      Hey Dawgs,

GREAT OS! I have never used any OS that ran on <20% of CPU/RAM!

I installed – antiX-17.2_386-base Helen Keller – on an “HP Pavilions” to be used as a “Stand-Alone studio in a box” for a friend who needs to run 2/3 cameras and store videos for retrieval by his students. He also is interviewed from time to time, so he needs simple software to switch between cameras.

      “Machine Read-out”:

1.) What Linux OS – WEB camera management software is optimum for antiX?
      2.) How do I install it? [Sorry, I grew-up on MAC & WIN, so I don’t understand.]
3.) Any suggestions for tweeking the system to optimize interviews & student access to archive of videos.

      Tanx Dawgs,
      PFO

A suitable kernel module (driver) is probably pre-installed ~~ many (most?) webcams produced in recent years support UVC (Universal Video Codec)
