Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.
I’d been using scrcpy with Antix21 without issue. I’ve read this post on these forums: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/mirror-your-android-device-with-scrcpy/
I’ve also checked for this issue on github and the internet in general to no avail. I hope someone here can shed light on this.
When executing scrcpy I get this error and can’t resolve:
scrcpy 2.1.1 <https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy>
ERROR: Could not initialize SDL video: No available displays
ERROR: “adb start-server” exited unexpectedly
ERROR: Could not start adb server
This happens with this version, being the version (that I had with Antix 21), and with the updated version of scrcpy.
adb is the most recent version and works otherwise when working with the phone.
from the terminal, this command: “echo $DISPLAY” returns this :0.0
Any help greatly appreciated.
