I did successfully install antiX-16.3 on this old P-III/600 w/ 384 Mb RAM. Stevo helped me get SMPlayer and Streamtuner2 working on it. It’s working good.
I only have a 10 Gb hard drive on this machine so there is no room for another distro. I think I will stick with 16.3 for as long as I can. I don’t have a DVD on this machine and it doesn’t boot from USB, so I don’t think I’ll try 17. (Although I may have worked out the problem I was having with the USB hub so I may try Plop again. We’ll see.) For now, I’m staying with 16.3.
