      Hello.

I’ve just tested Antix 17.3.1 32 Bit via VirtualBox. I had to choose 32 bit version because I’ll use it on an old netbook.
All is gone well except when I chose to format / using xfs.
Installation stopped almost immediately with a not specified error. I had to choose ext4 for /, just to complete installation.

I also tried to format / with ext4 and to create an /home partition formatting it with xfs. All is gone well.

I’d like to know if it’s only a problem of mine or if it’s a bug with this version. In other words, is it impossible to format / with xfs using Antix 17.3 32 bit ?

      Thanks in advance 🙂

        I can confirm this.

I’ll need some time to fix it though.

If you really want xfs, you could use gparted to format the partition to xfs and then use the cli-installer

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Thanks for the report.

Another option may be to create the partitions in qparted, and when the installer asks you if its OK for format the partition, say No. It should ask if you want to proceed then (at least I think it does)

            Thanks for your answer.
I’ll try with gparted and cli-installer, asap.

P.S. Just tried , all is working.
            Thank you again.
