      Hello All,

Just installed antix 17 Heather Heyer 64 bit and right out of the box it works.

The cli control centre is A-OK from what I’ve seen from inside of it although I’ve not used it.

The next thing I noticed was firejail sandbox is included as part of the distro upon install and for me that is an excellent feature.

As of this post everything is working great without any complaints another great OOTB antiX release.

Thanks for another great antiX release.

When you discover the EasterEgg surprise hidden in the control centre… shhh! (don’t post about it, will spoil the surprise for others)

          Hello All,

I just installed the base version of Antix 17 (32 bit) and I believe it runs better then the 64 bit version.

I did install UFW and LibreOffice and Psensor and VLC and Netsurf so far that is all that was needed as even the base version comes with a lot of software.

Everything installed / updated and works OOTB you gotta love it.

I’m also back to using 64bit which does run excellent on this old relic with only 3.0 GB of ram.
I use what I have and don’t have to have the newest disposable crap manufactured today as I just like old electronics.

Incidentally, neither of them would boot on these specs.

Fujitsu gear are built special to keep from booting from usb. It is a Fuji corp policy. Bios settings probably need a google search I think.
