cli-installer refuses to allow set of separate home partition.

Prior to install created 3 partitions with gparted livecd
      Installer recognized them as
      sda1:20G
      sda2:210G
      sda3:3g

      Select root partition- sda1
      “formatting sda1”
Do you want separate home partition- y
      Select home partition- sda2
      “invalid argument”

Then tried partitioning with installer same result.

Work around: Do not set /home partition in installer.
Post install edit /etc/fstab to mount /dev/sda2 on /home.
      Mount /dev/sda2 on /home
      mkdir /home/<user>
      Copy /etc/skel to /home/<user>
      chown -R <user>: /home/<user>
      or
      After Mount step from above
      deluser
      adduser

        Just yesterday:
        https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/antix-core-cli-installer-separate-home/

        Solution:

The fixed cli-installer is now available in the repos.
For those users with a downloaded core or net media, do (as root) before running the installer:

apt update && apt install cli-installer-antix

No problem. It is good you proposed a workaround and raised attention to this issue. If it wasn’t because someone else found out just a day ago, your bug report would have been the one to help figure out the problem.

If you see anything else you would like to report or ask about, don’t hesitate.
I hope you enjoy using antiX.

And welcome to the antiX forum!

Only other issue so far is icewm menus which is being discussed in another thread
Using dmenu as work around for now.

Is this duplication of items in the Applications menu for testing/sid version?

                    No. Remember this is core
Application menu no longer populated after installing program(s)
On fresh install of icewm and related programs application menu is populated
Wanted to install more gui programs so clicked on packageinstaller in menu
                    “command not found”
Dropped to another console and sure enough packageinstaller not installed
Used cli-aptiX to install package installer
                    Last message from cli-aptiX:
                    “writing iewm menu”
Returned to gui console and now applications menu is empty
Same as in original post hereantiX-19.2 (testing) “Applications” from the desktop menu are missing

This is related to antiX using testing (Debian bullseye) repos, where python2 is no-more.

For building from core, to get the Applications menu to self-populate, you need to have installed desktop-session-antix, desktop-defaults-icewm-antix (and move the corresponding /etc/skel/ folder to your home, or create a new user), desktop-defaults-base-antix (for the specific Applications menu template, I think) and the packages xdg-utils python-gtk2 python-xdg for the python script to work (it is based on python 2 on antiX 19 but, as you see in the thread you linked, it will be based on python3 on antiX 21).
Set a gtk icon theme (use lxappearance if you want a gui tool to set it up), and the Applications menu should now work properly.

That is on antiX 19 core (with buster repos). Probably there is a redundant package, but that is how I figured it out some months ago.
