      I saw the code was changed in gitlab, and so I tried it, and it now gives me a message to tell me that you can’t set a color as background with Rox desktop running. That makes sense, so that’s good.

        Maybe you aren’t running the Rox desktop? Its always good having a number of people testing something because you may not always guess all the things that might affect it or be affected by it.

          Right. I haven’t been using rox- or space- anything, though I have been switching between the “plain” WMs.

            I don’t think there is a message like that in the code anymore as the disfunctional items for certain sessions are hidden.
            There was in the old python/gtk2 version though that did not hide the items.
            Maybe that is why your colour selection dialog is different than christophe’s and myself?

              My goof, yesterday I was testing it with my buster test system instead of bullseye.

              I tested it today on my bullseye test system and it works correctly as you said. I like that it uses very little memory when running in random timed mode.
