What you did set it up.
Why it is not connecting is a mystery.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Ok – maybe the symlink of /etc/resolv.conf is wrong.

Delete it, reboot and see if a new one is created that links to /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf

You can tell by opening the file manager to /etc/and hovering the mouse over that symlink.

If that symlink is not created, do this

        sudo ln -s /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf

You might need to run ceni again.

OK I deleted the symlink and created a new one using your cmd sudo ln …

To check things out, does the attached file shows I have a functional connection ?
If so, there’s no wifi icon on the taskbar to tell me I’m connected or not ??

Ceni has no “icon” and will not display any icon in the taskbar. Can you ping any IP using the terminal? Can you access any webpage using firefox or other browsers?

Is it also true that ceni does not auto-connect after AntiX boots
i.e.the ONLY way to connect is to re-run ceni each time you want to connect

                ceni does auto connect.

You *might* need to edit (as root) /etc/network/interfaces file and change auto eth1

                to

                allow-hotplug eth1

So can you connect to the net?
