And the price was right (read: someone gave it to me for free). Recently replaced the old battery, which had packed it in and thought I’d put the new version of antiX on it. Works quite well for what I use it for; note taking and all that when I’m out and about and don’t really need bells and whistles.

::I like it! Nice portable little computer I can take pretty much anywhere. And since this little number has a little shy of 2 GB RAM, antiX makes it a useful machine as it’s memory needs aren’t exorbitant. I’m not really a big fan of (memory hogging) eye-candy anyway.

::Nice! I have an HP Netbook that has only 1GB of RAM. Single core Hyper-Threaded. Like your Samsung it runs antiX great.

::Cool. I don’t know why netbooks seem to have fallen out of fashion sort of thing.
I thought they were perfect for taking notes at college or university. That’s how I the ones I first had.
