Hi everyone,
I installed AntiX for the first time today on an old HP 110 Mini.
As a teacher I am looking to connect a VGA video projector on this new operating system and computer.
Is that possible on AntiX ?
Thank you for your feedback.

So yeah. It should be possible. Depending on user skill set. Howdy and Welcome. Please post a
inxi -Fxzreport from terminal so members can see your install.

::You can also look in antix-control-centre under session, then display resolution, your projector should be there under devices.

I can attest to this as well.
Not to derail but would there be any easy way to automate this process? I like to show off my antix netbook sometimes and changing displays can be a bit of a hassle.

It’s not quite clear to me what you like to do.
But you can save any configuration you made for your screens with the screenlayout-editor from control-centreLook under Layout and choose “save under”
Then choose your home-directory and name the file you want to save for example .projector
Click on Save
This will save your configuration in a hidden file in home.
Open a root-terminal and make it executable
chmod 755 .projector.shIf you want to use the projector open a terminal and type
arandr .projector.shThis will open screenlayout-editor with your configuration and you can choose Apply under Layout.
Well, this can go faster, it depends on your preferences.- This reply was modified 5 years, 2 months ago by caprea.

Possibly could be fixed with some kind of script? I’m not a math surgeon though 😛
