antiX-bullseye-a2-runit-x64-full is an alpha quality release for experienced testers of antiX to test and provide feedback.
Do not use this as your main OS.Get it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/antix-linux/files/Testing/
Unlike the previous antiX-runit edition which uses Debian’s implementation of runit (basically a mixture of runit plus sysvinit), this version is closer to how runit works on Void and Artix linux.
Sysvinit has been replaced with various antiX runit scripts and our much smaller sysvinit package.Documentation to follow.
Please state if you are testing live, frugal, in a virtual machine or on bare metal.
Thanks!
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::Thanks for good news, anticapitalista, will start to test tomorrow.
If this alpha is any where near as stable as the original Bullseye test release it will become new daily experiment.the first alpha is more stable and useful than many final releases I have experienced (no names but major distros) :-).

I agree; I have had excellent results with the Alpha 1 build; I just downloaded the Alpha 2 FULL runit build. I have not yet installed it, but so far, it is working.
More info once I have more experience with it. ::… My first impression
I like the way antiX-Runit bullseye works, it’s fast and pretty simple
and not to much memory and process.
(tried via VM VirtualBox)PS: The logo with neofetch is Debian instead antiX.

This is what antiX typically is, a solid distribution. While there are features added and functionality corrected, I’ve never been reluctant to avoid any build. In all the years I have used it, only one build was ever defective and it was fixed within the next day.

Tried and tested a little more, almost seems working correctly until now so congratulations, except:1-) At slim login, the halt user + rootPwd does not work, but reboot + rootPwd works.
2-) Smbclient does not work (smbtree, etc)Edit: I also tried a .iso snapshot via antixcc.sh, and it worked well.
