Dear anticapitalista,
Thank you for the new translation files with the new typographical apostrophes.
I found in “antiX-cli-cc” that the “Configuration Files” line did not work in “fr” and “fr_BE” for antiX 21/22/23 and that this was not a problem with the typographical apostrophes. I did my tests with zzz-jwm which is the most adapted to my double screens.
I searched for a long time but I found how to make antiX-cli-cc work.
When the program is displayed on the screen, I have to put it in full screen first. Then I press the up arrow and the menu flashes once. It looks like the menu is adapting to the full screen.
Then I can select the line “Configuration Files” and I arrive on the new full screen.What I don’t understand is that it works directly in English but not in French. For French, you have to run antiX-cli-cc in full screen.
I’m sorry if I’m not using the right words, I’m not a developer, it seems that the program doesn’t adapt the size of the windows to the other languages.
I’m glad I found the problem because since 2017, this program never worked well in French.
I hope you can find a simple solution to adapt or enlarge the windows of this program.
Thanks again for all your dedication.
Kind regards,

::Try this.
Edit (as root) /usr/share/applications/antix/antiX-cli-cc.desktop file.
Change x-terminal-emulator to urxvt in the Exec line.Alternatively, make the changes in roxterm.
Preferences>Edit Current Profile>Appearance>Size>Width (Default is 80 try 90)Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

::Dear anticapitalista,
I didn’t notice that there was a vertical scrollbar on the right in the window. The scrollbars are so small that I don’t always see them in the windows.
I enlarged the terminal window downwards.
Here is the screenshot, I have 2 times the same menu in the terminal window! This is by running the program from the antiX menu.Then I changed the file antiX-cli-cc.desktop.
Here is the new line in my file;
Exec=urxvt -e antiX-cli-cc1) I run the modified file and it works. But, you can’t see the shortcuts at the top of the screen (Quit =q , Help =h) and there is no scrollbar at the bottom to see anything.
I changed the preferences in Roxterminal from 90 to 150. This has no influence.
You have to put the first window in fullscreen to have all the shortcuts on the screen. Move up with the up arrow so that the menu adapts to the new window.2) I did a refresh of the menu. I also did a reboot of antiX. The new antiX-cli-cc.desktop file does not change the menu command. There are still 2 menus in the terminal window.
I have to set the Roxterminal preferences to 105 to see all the shortcuts on top of the screen.
When I select “Configuration files”, it works, but I have 3 menus in the same terminal window.Kind regards,

::Maybe it is best to automatically open antiX-cli-cc in full terminal mode.
Exec=x-terminal-emulator -f -e antiX-cli-ccAfter making the above change, Refresh Menu

::Dear anticapitalista,
It works if I run the *.desktop file directly.
But from the menu, it doesn’t work even if I do a PC reboot and a refresh menu. RoxTerminal always opens with the preference at 80. It seems that the RoxTerminal preference takes precedence over the *.desktop file command if you run the program from the menu.
Kind regards,

::I wanted to remove an entry in the applications menu and or hide an entry in the applications menu but antiX-cli-cc.desktop does not appear in the programs.

::Dear anticapitalista,
Now that I have received the new “Refresh menu” file, I can run antiX-cli-cc from the antiX menu.
Good job!
As I had set the “antiX-cli-cc.desktop” file to full terminal, the program works fine now. But I don’t know if the others received this new “desktop” file in full terminal mode?Thanks for your support and dedication.
Kind regards,
