Under antix kernels, within cli-aptiX, these two kernels listed:
linux-image-4.4.0-264-antix.1-686-smp-pae
linux-image-4.4.264-antix.1-686-smp-paeDoes it make a difference which one is installed?
I have 4.4.264 installed – is this the correct one? –- This topic was modified 1 year, 11 months ago by mikey777.

New builds of 4.4 and 4.9 kernels should now be available in the repos.Newly named to 4.4.0-264 and 4.9.0-264 to avoid the libc6 message ‘Your kernel version indicates a revision number of 255 or greater’

Should I change to 4.4.0-264 ?EDIT: I’ve deleted 4.4-264 and am now using 4.4.0-264. I remember anticapitalista
advised me to use the 4.4.0-264 version recently, in a thread about something entirely different, when I thought I’d made a typo by writing 4.4-264 – in fact it wasn’t a typo, I was actually using 4.4.264 !- This reply was modified 1 year, 11 months ago by mikey777.
