Thanks @dukester! By the way, I finished siduction updates and I’m back with antiX now.
I did some new updates here, and since my HP-14 has newer hardware, I was, until recently, forced to use alternative kernels, so I have xanmod1 and Liquorix Version 6.1.* kernels, but now I ALSO have the antiX 6.1.11 kernel here.

When I returned to update my system, among the few changes was an update to the Liquorix kernel; it’s now at Version 6.1.12-3-liquorix-amd64.
I am, however, using the antiX 6.1.11 kernel now and this system is just as snappy as that siduction distribution I mentioned; it just gets there a “different way”. We do it via lean, efficiency first, and optimization second; theirs is the opposite, optimization primary, with the latest technology, and typical German attention to detail. Both work well, they’re simply different.

        You’re a busy boy!

Just posted a msg in the “Software” Forum about firewall settings an antiX-22. Some things appear to be a bit different then my 19.3 install.

Yeah I’ve been a software geek since my 11th grade in high school.

Thanks to my mathematics department, they were wise to the rapid advance of computer technology and scheduled a trip to a local research Lab computer facility.

That helped me decide on my career choice.

I’m retired now and computer systems are back to hours of my hobby.

Right on! Some folks don’t know what to do with themselves when they retire. That has never been a problem with either. 😀
