I have just posted the announcement of a prototype version of antiX-Openbox (respin).
Downloads, screenshots, and installation instructions are available at:http://eirenicon.org/2019/05/28/antix19-alpha-openbox-prototype/ &

::So it looks much better!
Didn’t try it though but, ‘as seen’ on screenshots.
Maybe try to ‘fix’ the wallpaper (light spots) and the toolbar border color.
It’s irrelevant how the wallpaper image looks on it’s own — it must look good as ‘default preset’.
Desktop is a ‘unity’ (== ONE), not a sum of single parts!
Also, somewhat too high resources usage for an OpenBox box … maybe check:

::Hello,
funny the details in the screenshot didn’t shock me, apart maybe for the color of the icons which I would change. On the other hand, the weight of the ISO is far bigger than I would expect in a light distro (whatever the window manager/desktop preference).I have some ideas, I’ll post about it on another topic.

::I am no longer working on Openbox. Maybe I should be but the level of interest was low and to be honest, I’m having much more fun with bspwm. So if any of the pieces I created are useful, feel free to take and make them better.

Thank you. However, if you have interest in working on the “Bento antiX” project, you are welcome to bring your knowhow! 🙂
Let me know if you do, and I can point you to the gitlab Bento Openbox project repos.

::Thank you. But I will decline. I’m happy to provide you what I have but openbox is not where I want to devote any real energy right now. I’m focused on bspwm for both personal use and sharing (as a respin).
