Hello, This is my fluxbox-spacefm desktop. Testing that compiler and xaos works.
So far antix works great even on old dell latitude laptop.
It is pentium M 1.7ghz 2gb ram I915 video.Here’s one more shot in icewm-spacefm. Had to switch DE too used to start menu in the corner.
Also added firefox 56 to desktop So far Awesome distro!

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
Here is another shot. Using tux commander file manager on ice-wm with qt5 settings.
So far Antix17-full working great, good job to Dev team for nice fast distro.Here is experiment on my good tower, some quirks on 64 bit that I need to iron out
but so far this system with antix17full-64 bit is like putting a jetpack on a
10 speed. Here’s a screenshot with inxf.

Here’s one with different conky colors and checking out
palemoon browser. It seems to use less memory than firefox.
2 tabs open and still under 400mb ram.

A trial in antiX
Why should this not work in antiX?There is still a lot to be done
Across the past year, several people people have expressed interest in the prospect of antiX+LXDE.
Coincidentally, there was an LDXE topic over at the MX Linux forum (antiX subforum?) this past week.
If you decide to create an unofficial antix+LXDE respin, I expect it would be well-received.

If you decide to create an unofficial antix+LXDE respin, I expect it would be well-received.At the end I give up with LXDE for only one reason: setting up openbox and adding lxpanel requires less RAM usage.
In this way I obtained the look and feel I were searching for.In the future I would like to set up a lxqt-panel version.

I will surely try lxqtix, but I think I will do a try by myself, with only openbox + lxqt-panel. I see in the screenshot published on Sourceforge that RAM usage is quite heavy compared to basic antiX.
