As application launcher capable of hiding,
on the left in space-icewm Dust, antiX-21_full, is
<xfce4-panel 4.16.2-1> and
<fbpanel 7.0-4.2>.
The xfce panel can drag and drop shortcuts from its application menu to its panel for create new launcher.
To fbpanel is added a launcher star to open fbpanel-settings window. [or use Cntrl+right-click in fbpanel]
The fbpanel can add a launcher to its panel or add the launcher to the top level of its application menu.

Conky code for the cpubar: ${cpubar cpu1}
cpu0=average cpu usage (not used here);cpu1 & cpu2 are used for this dual core machine here to show each cpu independently. So the lines go:

${color8}${cpubar cpu1}${color}
${color8}${cpubar cpu2}${color}

— this give it color, and turns it back to the default color at the end of the line.

RAM & Swap:

${color8}${membar}${color}
${color8}${swapbar}${color}

Disk: (for root)
${color8}${fs_bar /}${color}
Or for home:
${color8}${fs_bar /home}${color}

Very simple.

In his screenshot I have not gone for static visual aesthetics.
Instead I wanted to show – nay brag! – about a 2009 iMac running YouTube video in recent Chrome browser while working on an open document in LibreOffice Writer and trying to impress with some LibreOffice Mathematics 101 composition of functions rule.

On the downside (I think?) while cpu temp appears to run in 31 – 39C gpu temp appears to incrementally increase presently at 63C
