Did you look here already and try to follow: https://debian.pkgs.org/10/debian-main-amd64/ipheth-utils_1.0-5_amd64.deb.html
antiX is based on debian so likely you can get usb cable tethering to work.

Wiki adress and maintainer contact are on that page

May also be of use to reference: https://github.com/potato1992/Iphone_usb_tethering_fix

Should you fail to connect using the information available with a quick searc any further posts
please give the forun some information to go on, IOS Version, antiX Version.
preferably inxi, how to do that is easy to find in forum.

Hi Makhno, ipheth-utils is installable with synaptic or
          sudo apt install ipheth-utils

You didn’t explain where the problem lies, this might gives also some useful information

Hi makhno, welcome to antiX. One of the strengths of antiX is that the user can set up antiX to do almost anything. But with that power comes some discomfort as you have to learn how to do some things that are not built in to the desktop system by default.

I would say yes, there is a way. But I am not an iphone user so I have not tested it myself. But if I were in need of this feature I would try it out first on my “Live” system, a LiveUSB which is a fully functional antiX all by itself. Once I have worked out what to do on my LiveUSB I would then proceed to duplicate the steps on my “installed to hard disk” system. This is another strength of antiX, the Live tools are fantastically useful for experimentation.

Why not try out Caprea’s suggestion to install ipheth-utils, either with Synaptic in the GUI, or using apt at the command line in a terminal, and tell us what happens? Again, if you are concerned with messing with an installed system then use the LiveUSB first to experiment.

Good luck and have fun with antiX.

makhno, welcome to the antiX Forum. I hope that the suggestions are helpful.

If there are any additional questions, please write back. Hopefully you’re already able to use the utility suggested.
Let us know if that works for you. Best wishes!

Since iOS 5.0, iPhones will not allow a Linux installation to be recognized as a “trusted connection.”

                Might help. Might not.
