      Hi,
      Earlier, to fix a “hash sum mismatch” problem, I switched to a alternative
      antix 17 mirror repository per suggestion in post #7998. I choose:

      California, USA
      deb http://iso.mxrepo.com/antix/stretch/ stretch main nosystemd

      Today (3/22/2018 8:28am Pacific USA), upon running ‘apt-get update’, I get:

      Err:11 http://iso.mxrepo.com/antix/stretch stretch/main amd64 Contents (deb)
      404 Not Found
      <snip>
      E: Failed to fetch http://iso.mxrepo.com/antix/stretch/dists/stretch/main/Contents-amd64 404 Not Found
      E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

      All other repos updated fine.
      Is there a problem with the repo(s), or just me?

      Thanks.

        The repo seems fine. Maybe you connected at a time when the repo was updating itself?
        Is it working now?

        Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Hi,
          Thanks for investigating. Still a problem for me.

          I note the problem repo I’m referencing doesn’t have Contents-amd64.gz
          (or any other Contents file). Compared to repo.antixlinux.com, which
          does, albeit updated very recently, just this morning in fact. So repo
          changes are definitely going on. I don’t know how mirrors propagate;
          I would think it is atomic, or nearly so, not just a vanilla rsync(1).

          Please compare the two screenshots. One has the set of Contents files,
          the other doesn’t. Taken 3/22/2018 11:52am PDT.

          I see another users is having repo problems in another today’s thread,
          but these issues seem to be regarding debian.org repo, not mxrepo.com
          like me although the 404 Not Found error is the same.

          Thanks.
