      Hello again,

my next question getting started with the Antix19 distro is (likely) about tlp.

At home I’m running Antix19 on an Acer Extensa 5220 and it runs very fast in AC mode but as soon as it enters battery mode it gets very slow and unresponsive for several seconds every half minute or so.

I have already realized that this is likely an (config) issue concerning tlp.

But how should I start and reconfigure the tlp settings (in /etc/tlp.d/?
Or asked the other way round: Where should I start to find out what standard settings have to be changed to avoid the freezes?

Try removing tlp first and maybe that also fixes your other problem with “wake after suspend”. Though reinstalling could also help
        sudo apt install --reinstall tlp

Check the /etc/tlp.conf file (and maybe even /lib/udev/rules.d/85-tlp.rules).

          Thanks for your answers.
As I want to get a stable running system at first and I realized there are severe power managements issue on that machine – I just decided to drop tlp completely for now.
Of course, all the battery mode troubles have gone and discharging got faster, but that’s o.k. at the moment.
First, I will concentrate on my other topics.
