I don’t know the difference between antix 21-22 but GNOME-disks no longer mounts luks volumes without root. (sudo gnome-disks)
sudo gnome-disks Mounts the partition fine but as root under /media/root/luks32GB
The problem for me is that this folder is no longer accessible by any app unless its run as root… witch I can’t/should not do, any help would be nice
Maby disks is missing a user group/wheel ?Usually the folder location should be
/media/$USERNAME/luks32GB

Okay, now search google ((( polkit authority gnome disks ))) or ((( polkit authority not available and caller is not uid 0 )))
Check the polkit rules on your system. Determine whether a rule for one or more luks related actions is absent?
gnome-disk-utility/+bug/1069234I hope this issue gets fixed soon so I can use antix 22 😉

to-the-moon, If you have problems with the spam checker posting you need to think about what might be causing it rather than repeatedly posting the same thing that got flagged. If it got flagged the first time, and you made no changes, why would you expect it not to flag the post again?
The solution is likely to simplify the post, limiting yourself to 1 URL per post…

And if I could make one request… You got anticapitalista to help with your issue. He is the primary Author/Developer, so please, be respectful of the time and effort he puts into the distro. Maybe you didn’t know that, and nobody is angry or anything, but if the site won’t let you reply to him, there is no need to get frustrated and leave him hanging, just put in a short post to say you are having spam checker problems, or if that won’t work, try sending a message to a moderator or forum admin. We all want antiX to work for everyone as much as reasonably possible, but need help figuring out problems that come up.

Sorry I been having trouble posting with more than 1 link, and I tried what iznit suggested,I just ended up finding out that more people have the same issue as me just unresolved? Can’t seem to find a reasonable fix, thank you for your help tho

I’m confused by this point, just wanted to report that GNOME disk error to you guys as mounting luks is important to me with gnome disks…? Thank youuuuuuu 🙂 if anyone knows how to fix the polkit bug let me know please lol
