::Hi,
I’ve looked at the web-page (switched language to English) and what I understood is that the Anton App is accessed via web-browser only.
(Was there any installation or rather account creation? [E.g. MS Teams can be accessed via browser or a standalone XDG App can be installed.])Anyway, if I have issues with sounds (e.g. in MS Teams we use at work), they were usually solved by installing+running ‘pulseaudio’ (demon) and ‘pavucontrol’ (GUI to handle the streams detected by ‘pulseaudio’).
1) Installing:
sudo apt install pulseaudio pavucontrol
2) Start the pulseaudio (as described e.g. in man pulseaudio):
pulseaudio --start
3) subsequently open the pavucontrol’s GUI:
pavucontrol &
Explore the output streams and properly redirect them.Note: Also, you may want to try to run the browsers with all extensions temporarily turned-off/disabled.

::Sound with alsa Howto has been published here in the forum several times. Some posts
pretty recent.up to now i have not needed to move any user to pulse.
First thing is please prefix your start with apulse = apulse firefox apulse chromium
while checking the problem I have that permanently setup.December 19, 2020 at 10:24 am #47758Memberab4711
::Thank you first.
Where can I change the prefix or where can I find the file.(prefix your start with apulse = apulse firefox apulse chromium)

::There seems to be a bit of confusion here, from what I gather from the Original Post:
https://anton.app/ seems to be a web service, running from inside a web browser… If that is so, you can starting it using sound, running the default antix browser firefox-est (like, for example, with the command “firefox-esr https://anton.app ”
If you installed “firefox” itself, by default firefox does not provide sound in antiX, because it uses pulse audio, and antiX does not- this means that you have to force firefox “to think” it’s running with pulse audio- there’s an application for that, called “apulse”, you have to run the app that needs pulse audio from inside it, that’s why it is a “prefix” to the command that runs the app:
for example:
the command “firefox https://anton.app” – does not provide sound output in antiX (if you have not installed and configured pulse audio beforehand), but
the command “apulse firefox https://anton.app” does provide sound…Please note that chromium and chromium derive browsers, like Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, etc, do not require pulse audio do provide sound output- you can start them and have sound out of the box, in any web page…
If you really want to have that website running from inside firefox (and not firefox-esr or Chrome, etc), you can create a .desktop file for it, and have it come up on your menu (or put it in your toolbar/desktop) for easy access-
sudo geany /usr/share/applications/anton.desktop
[enter your password, if asked to]paste this contents to the file and save it
[Desktop Entry] Version=1.0 Name=anto.app Exec=apulse firefox https://anton.app/de/ StartupNotify=true Terminal=false Icon=/usr/share/icons/papirus-antix/48x48/status/avatar-default.png Type=Application Categories=Office; MimeType=application/pdf;application/rdf+xml;application/rss+xml;application/xhtml+xml;application/xhtml_xml;application/xml;image/gif;image/jpeg;image/png;image/webp;text/html;text/xml;x-scheme-handler/ftp;x-scheme-handler/http;x-scheme-handler/https; Actions=new-window;new-private-window;then update the menu with the command:
sudo desktop-menu --write-out-global- This reply was modified 2 years, 4 months ago by PPC.

::@ PPC, Thanks for jumping in.
I had to get out of isolation room for a few hours,just starting firefox with prefix apulse from console then opening anton gave me sound.
So many sound howto, in the forum, and often same problem for users, maybe you could put your
highly detailed howto for run in browser applications on the wiki..
Same method works for Tor, Ungoogled Chromium Firefox latest and others.An artikel could be expanded as and when questions roll in.

::Oy! I seem to keep forgetting about the ‘apulse’.
Anyway, the pulseaudio+pavucontrol allowed me for an easy redirection of streams (output from speakers instead of headset, input to headset-microphone).

::Hi sybok, have seen no reason to change from pulse. Reason I would not move is sound quality.
I listen to music with a somewhat exotic setup, pulse makes sound consistently less clear.Switching outputs inputs has not given any headeaches, up to now anyway.
Card is an audigy with gold plated bells and whistles :-). -
