App-outlet 2 beta- app store for .appimages and flatpaks

App-outlet v 2 beta is out- there’s a .deb and an appimage over at: https://github.com/app-outlet/app-outlet/releases
For folks that complain that we don’t have an app store with app’s icon and screen grabs, this is a nice alternative to Package Installer and Synaptic…
It still lacks many appimages I found all over the internet (particularly rare Office apps, etc) but it’s a nice place to download files (I tested only .appimages- if you click to install the app, it opens the default browser to download the file- you still have to make it executable – using your file manager or the terminal) and then click the appimage to run or “install” it…

Someday Nix packaging will be more user friendly and all the rest (App images, flatpaks, snaps) will be history (not going to happen).
