      When I enact the weather option via the antiX menu button (Applications/Accessories/Weather), I receive a readout for Location: None, Torino, Piemonte, Italia [44.933143,7.540121]. I live in Toronto, so this readout is quite different from the weather I’m currently experiencing.

      The program is Wtrr.in. Within a terminal, I can change the location via: curl wttr.in/Toronto. But, I’m not sure how to change what appears when I enact this weather program via the menu button.

        ::

        antiX menu > Terminal

        sudo geany /usr/local/bin/antix-weather.sh

        enter your password, if asked to

        On line nr 4, edit the part that says “http://wttr.in/$corrected_area?lang=$l1″ replacing “$corrected_area” with your location (Toronto).

        Save the file.

        When you launch the Wttr.in from the icon, it should display your location.

          Thanks. Yes, that works. It now generates a readout for:

          Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada [43.6529206,-79.3849007]

          So, another thread that can be marked “solved”.
