Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.
I was trying to start the process of upgrading my AntiX v19.3 installation to v19.4, doing it from the terminal instead of Synaptic. Before starting, I took a couple of minutes to review the apt-get man page. I’d intended to do “apt-get update”, followed by “apt-get upgrade”, then “apt-get dist-upgrade”. But, I didn’t even manage the first of the three. I’m attaching a screenshot of the terminal window, showing the details of the failure.
Hi, scruffyeagle.
Follow these directions (I always use the first option):
https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/expkeysig-error/
Then I always run these 2 to fully upgrade:
sudo apt update
then
sudo apt full-upgrade
confirmed antiX frugaler, since 2019
Thank you, cristophe! Your solution worked like a charm.
So far, I haven’t found any way to modify the title of this post, to insert “(Solved)” into the title… If I could, I would.
Thanks again!
