Good Morning everybody,
I think, I found a small bug. At least it looks to me that way.
When I start ARandR from the menu. It starts normally.
When I start it from the control centre it asks for admin password. It is probably started by the script with gksudo.
But there is no need to start ARandR with gksudo, because the functionality is the same. At least on my netbook.
Do you need any more info?
It is my first bug report like this.
sunny regards from rainy Athens
Hi isminaki
Although there are times you could want to run arandr as root, the current version doesn’t need it. (The only current change in functionality is that if you use it to save layout scripts while root, they won’t be accessible to you later as a regular user).
I’ve just submitted a patch through to antiX to no longer use gksu for arandr.
