      ~/.config/betterlockscreenrc

      Thanks for the tip. I just tested. There’s no need to copy the content of the file from github, just create the file with
      touch ~/.config/betterlockscreenrc

      and then add the contents of the variable, to the file. Ex:
      locktext="$USER, please enter your password..."

      Note: I noticed that changing the contents of the text of the other variables produces no change…

        For the moment i only have tried to change the ring color, and it work on my computer; if i set

        ringcolor=000000ff

        i obtain the result displayed in the screenshot.

        The first 6 number are the rgb hex color code the last two hex number set transparency, with 00 being completely transparent and ff completly opaque.
        I let to the reader the exercise to find how to calculate all the intermediate values 😀
        I’m joking obviously 😉
        I usually use this table

        Edit 1:
        If you want to change the time format to add the date, as i did, or the message to use a long string, you will notice that the ring position will overlap the other strings.
        To solve this problem i pass (as per help switch) the direct i3lock command to betterlock:

        betterlockscreen -l blur -- --ind-pos="x+410:y+h-80" --time-pos="ix-360:iy-10" --greeter-pos="ix-360:iy+12"

        You can see the result in the second screenshot.
        I’m trying to understand how to use betterlockscreenrc to do this, but without luck until now.

          Unfortunately the theme showed in the screenshot is not available in the default install of obshutdown.
          I converted in png (the image format used by obshutdown) the corresponding svg Dracula icons.
          I also made a Papirus icons set.
          Eventually i can create a git repo for these icons, if someone requests it.

          Please do! I installed obshutdown and this is what it looks like. (I realize I need a compositing manager). Maybe even share your config file.

            This is my obshutdown.rc
            Put it in ~/.config/obshudown dir.
            Adjust the command in actions section, my configuration reflects my antix core install. May be PPC can suggest you the best one for antix.
            Please note I set the sudoers file so that my user can execute the below commands that use sudo, without password.
            The oxygen theme does not work well, at least on my PC with antix
            In attachments you’ll find a zip file containing my /usr/share/obshutdown/themes dir.

            Edit: I also published a github repo: obshutdown-themes

                I created a github repository for Poor Man Wallpaper Changer, if someone wants try it this is the link:

                https://github.com/purpleleaf/PMwc

                All the paths was pointing to dirs in my home, i changed all of them, i hope, anyway let me know if all things work.

                NOTE: at the moment the script is tailored to openbox, it assumes the existance of a ~/.config/openbox/autostart file, but it should be easy to adapt it to use another WM config file. As soon as possible i will try to implement some switch to use icewm….
                Any contribution will be welcome.

                @PPC: Please could you let me know how is setted and started .fehbg? On an antix base install pmwc can write to .fehbg, but after a logout .fehbg is overwritten…..

                Dependencies: curl feh imagemagick

                I will also add a link in my first post, for convenience.
