Please could I have some help setting up KeePassXC so that is starts from boot. I can find the KeePassXC in Menu>Applications>Accessories and start from there but I have not succeeded in getting it to start automatically and the beginners instructions do not have what I seek.

With pCloud this is installed from the pCloud website and works but does not install automatically. I have to go to the downloaded file and execute.

The same way any app has to be added to autolaunch. I usually add it to ~/.desktop-session/startup, so it will launch no matter what WM I am using.

(If you prefere, add it to the startup file for your winow manager, lets imagine it is icewm, it would be ~/.icewm/startup).

I asume your pclud application is an appimage. It means it is a portable app, and it is not meant to be installed.
If you want to launch at startup, edit $HOME/.desktop-session/startup and add there the path to your pcloud appimage (let us imagine it is $HOME/Downloads/pCloud.appimage)

Exactly what I needed and thanks. Should have worked it out myself but have been losing time on my other thread.
          Thanks again.
