Forum for users of antiX Linux. Mean and Lean and Proudly anti-fascist.

This is what I did in Virtualbox.
Installed antiX-net (32 bit) choosing to install elogind and dbus-x11.
After installation, I installed xorg, lxqt, papirus-mini-antix, arc-theme, arc-evopro2-theme-antix, openbox, lightdm, htop, policykit-1
Checked it booted to login screen, set up desktop to use openbox, and able to reboot without any password prompt.
On second boot remove some of the apps on the toolbar, removed xfwm4, upower and power management (just to see) and on next boot
RAM showed via htop less than 90MB!
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
Sounds like a winner, (even though I normally like Fluxbox). 🙂
Linux (& BSD) since 1999
