Hi I’m new to antix, I managed to get most of the essentials working (like wifi drivers and such), but one thing that I’m not sure how to fix is battery indicator, there’s nothing on the taskbar or conky that shows battery percentage,
when I run acpi -b I get a message No support for device type: power_supply
I tried find /lib/modules/uname -r | grep acpi | grep battery and it outputs battery.ko and then I load it with modprobe and run acpi -b gain and it give the message mentioned above. running ls /sys/class/power_supply/ shows there’s nothing in that folder.
I’m using the 5.10 kernel, (can’t use the 4.9 because it boots to a black screen). any help is appreciated as I’m really starting to like how lean antix is.

Thanks for replying, but I’m afraid that link is assuming an already detected battery, mine is not even showing up as a supported device. so I don’t see how those tips could be helpful in my case

            Dear antyx,
very often to have info about battery I use plank.
I like using it because I like to have a MacOS look
After having installed it from antiX Programm Install (the little rectangle close to the menù, with a down arrow) you can find it in menu -> program -> accessories.
Then you hover the dock and with Crtl + right click, you can open the menu -> Preferences -> Docklets

That battery indicator for me so far worked always properly.

You can give it a try. If the indicator doesn’t work, the problem may be located somewhere else.
            Good luck!
