Hi again!
I know I had Dropbox running under antiX ages ago, before I got distracted by academic stuff the last couple of years.
But I forgot how if there were any special tricks to making it work in antiX.
Can anyone tell me how to set up Dropbox on antiX then?
Hopefully it’s easy-peasy. I just want to make sure I don’t mess it up, of course.

If I remember correctly I used the headless install method. This avoided a lot of gnome/nautilus stuff getting installed.

Just install this package: nautilus-dropbox
(This will not add nautilus, so don’t worry.)
Works perfectly.confirmed antiX frugaler, since 2019

But note: this will install & set up dropbox but NOT enable it to autostart. If you like it to autostart (I don’t — but if YOU do), follow this thread:

Thanks for that! I knew there was some way I did it before.
I also kind of forgot about that work around I found to autostart Dropbox in antiX.
That was, like, eons ago!
Well, okay, less than 18 months ago.
