After a recent update of NVidia packages from upstream, single deb name but virtual package!.
I had issues with boot.
One fail with green screen, next trys hanging for a long time after the well known and
harmless failed to install NVidia module message. Nvidia driver was fine,
the Nvidia tools showing no errors, settings manager starting and running fine.
Long story of internet search and trying to fix the error, in the end doing
update-initramfs -u got me back to a normal boot.
Still have the usual message but startup without hanging.
Using Testing repos, my N Vidia driver is Tesla 470. The issue may occur with other versions.
