Bootable antix DVD

Hi. What software, and how can you make a bootable antix linux dvd. I need to install it to an old P4 PC.
Where can I download antix 19?

1. Go to the download site and get a copy of the ‘full’ version.

2. Insert a DVD and use DVD burner software, such as something suggested here

Or https://www.tecmint.com/burn-cd-dvd-linux/ from a Linux system.

Other alternatives can be easily located by searching for ‘ DVD burner’ or ‘linux dvd burner’

Before you burn or burn the DVD with antiX Linux full, try to find out if your processor is 32-bit or 64-bit. If your processor is 32-bit, download the 32-bit ISO (antiX-21_386-full.iso or antiX-19.4_386-full.iso), or if your processor is 64-bit, download the 64-bit ISO (antiX-21_x64-full.iso or antiX-19.4_x64-full.iso).

IMGBurn is the smallest and easiest program to use on Windows to burn CD/DVD.

Regardless of your level of knowledge about GNU/Linux, I recommend you read these excellent tutorials created by @PPC:

Antes de você gravar ou queimar o DVD com o antiX Linux full, tente descobrir se o seu processador é de 32 bits ou de 64 bits. Hello oszkarvarso. We’re going to need more information.

You don’t tell us what you are using now – Windows? Linux? MacOS? other?

The others above have given you good clues on how to “burn” or “image” a bootable DVD. (I use ImgBurn on Windows as mentioned by Marcelo).

I have several Pentium 4’s. On all of them I am able to use a USB key drive instead of a DVD. I use a “Plop!” bootable CD, or floppy. Then I direct Plop! to boot from USB. Works like a charm.

But DVD does work on those P4’s that have a DVD-Rom.

Use the link on the top of this forum to go to the antiX Home Page, or the “Download” link, and follow the links to download the correct iso file.
