I make a bootable with Unetbootin but it doesn’t work when I boot from BIOS, black screen, no words. What’s wrong with the bootable? How to fix it? Thank.

        Hi happyland,
Please give us more to go on when you ask for help, antiX version and what machine you are trying to run on
        as absolute minimum.

first question is did you check your download was ok, most common point of failure
        is data corruption.
You write when you boot from BIOS, do you mean selecting the usb stick as boot device in a list
or did you change boot order putting your stick as first boot device. A Black screen usualy means
defective image or boot device not found.

          Unetbootin

          https://antixlinux.com/download/

To make the most of using the antiX live system, particularly from a usb,
it is recommended to use the antiX/MX live usb maker or Rufus if using Windows

Thanks, I solved it. I forgot to set a bootable partition (enable boot flag on).

OT: in a very old solved in 2021 thread.

First, the bootable USB flash drive must be recorded correctly. If you are writing an ISO image of Windows or a low-level program like Acronis, which is designed to work with a hard disk, you should use a special program like ultra-iso or others.

                Or, use Rufus, as stated.

I think it’s clear that you need not just copy the files to a USB flash drive, but write exactly the image! If you don’t know how to do it, then it’s better not to try to fix something yourself, because this way you can aggravate the situation. It is much better to contact yak specialists. I turned to the guys from the company . They fixed my USB flash drive for me. You don’t have to contact them because there are many specialists in this field. The main thing is to make sure that they are reliable.
