      Hi,
I’ve just done the md5 check: at least one checksum is incorrect. I will like to burn the DVD at a slow burn speed and then try again.
Go to sleep now. Good night to all places in the world. …. *. . . )

Did you check the file that you are burning it from?

Do that first, just in case.

I think your video is likely fine.

Replacing a DVD drive or connecting an external DVD drive isn’t too bad, but if the video goes on an old laptop, that’s likely the end of life for the machine.

          Hi Kexs,
you should have 2 USB ports, they are spec 2 so maybe, if you are able a better option than the DVD drive.

Regarding heating, if your laptop gets hot quickly on the underside, and the right palm rest you will need to
check cooling, often dust and hair in front of the heat exchange fins.Another problem can be dry thermal paste.
          Good info https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T61-and-prior-T-series-ThinkPad/Tale-of-two-T61-s-One-hot-the-other-cool/td-p/675077
applies to all thinkpads pretty well.

It works now! Apparently the DVD was incorrectly burned. My laptop only has a CD-RW burner and DVD reader built into it. Today a friend burned the antiX-19-full-.iso image again for me. This time with a slow burning speed and burned on a DVD+RW. Before that it was only a DVD-R.
In any case, the live distri could start without any problems 🙂
The computer itself is otherwise fine. I’ve changed the fan, screen and hard drive in the last few years.
            It works !
            Thanks all!
