The X GUI shouldn’t be run as the root operator, so try using startx as a normal user.

        Linux (& BSD) since 1999

Did you install any apps between the first time you booted after installing antiX to hard disk and the other times that it doesn’t boot to a graphical environment?

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Since it is a new install, I would advise you to install again from the iso and then after you get to X environment and before you install anything, post the output of

              inxi -Fxr

You type inxi -Fxr in the terminal, highlight it and than copy/paste it to the forum or a text file

So, I guess that is the output when installed? Reboot several times, just to make sure all is ok.
I’m guessing you want to install nvidia drivers and this led to X not starting?
