I saw that in home/user-name/.jwm/key some entries have the simbol <!-- to disable that entry but then there is no simbol --> to close it.
I think it’s a small bug, but I don’t exclude it has chosen to do so for some reason that I don’t understand

A confirming example is evident in the fact that the “F2” keybind is ineffective, due to absence of a “closing comment tag” in the preceeding line.

but the fixed file will only get installed to etc/skel (will benefit any user accounts you create in the future, will not automatically “fix” your pre-existing .keys file) so, yes, you should manually add the missing closing tags in your user’s ~/.jwm/keys file
