Edited for clarity moddit. Translation problem I guess.
Built in or integrated webcam, not building webcam

      Hi guys!

I’m running the latest antix on my old pc (acer travel mate 32bit)
This pc has an integrated webcam (logitech, inc c920 hd pro)

This webcam does not work with cheese!

      How can i fix?

And What checks/operations I do to understand if antix recognizes the webcam?

      Thanks

Hi – I love cheese – eating it, I mean, I never knew you can make a webcam work with it – I’m joking, I assume it’s some kind of graphics software…
To check if antiX recognizes your webcam run gtkam (via the terminal or from the menu or app-select). If it detects your webcam, it means that everything should be ok from the Operating System side…
Try that and report back, with your system’s full info…

Does the laptop also boot with the 5.10 kernel and did you try if the webcam might works with it?

What you describe is not uncommon over linux distros.
pls try to run webcam as root, if that lets it work you will then just need to figure out correct permissions.
